This nationally available course is made up of a number of competency-based unit standards covering the accrual of skills and knowledge to be achieved both on and off the job.
We offer a three-year part-time course for electrical apprentices covering the Off-Job Unit Standards contained in the qualification.
The two intakes take place in the:
- First week of February
- Third week of July

Checklist for enrolment
- Before enrolling, you must have an electrical employer that is approved to sign off the practical skills that you will learn on-the-job
- Ensure you have a Training Agreement in place with your employer and a funding body such as The Skills Organisation or Connexis.
- Specify with your funding body that you would like to study with the Electrical Training Company. They will inform us of your decision.
