Master Electricians Competency Course
The Master Electricians Competency Course offered by the Electrical Training Company covers the EWRB requirements for registration or renewal of a practising licence for electricians and electrical apprentices.
The course includes:
- Supervision of trainees
- Earthing requirements as listed in AS/NZS3000:2007
- The installation, operation and testing of residual current devices (RCCB, RCBO, SRCD and PRCD)
- Prospective short circuit currents
- Testing and certification as listed in AS/NZS3000:2007, AS/NZS3760:2010 and the Electricity (Safety) Regulations 2010
- First aid and CPR
The course is four hours long but may run over. You will be required to bring your testing equipment with you. This includes: multi-function meter, multi-meter, insulation resistance tester, ELI and RCD tester.
Please note: this is NOT a Site Safe course and does not contain safe working practices.
Course cost: $180.00 (excl GST)
If we do not reach our minimum participant number to run a course, it may be postponed or cancelled. In this happens, we will advise you in good time.
Once you have booked, if you have a valid reason for not being able to attend and notify us in advance, we can transfer your place to the next available date. In all other instances, course fees will not be refunded.
