Invercargill Facility gets a Make Over

Invercargill classrooms

There should be no reason for students in Invercargill to miss their nightclasses now. The old, cold classrooms have now been replaced with brighter, cleaner and much warmer rooms ready for the new semester. “The new suspended ceilings, LED lighting and heat pumps have made a huge difference to the learning environment and the double glazing has significantly reduced the noise from the road,” says local Apprenticeship Coordinator John Whitaker. “I won’t be surprised if the students want to come for two nights.” The Project Manager, Sean Colyer and his contractors have all done a great job and we thank them very much," says Regional Training Manager, Ken Knox.“The new surroundings plus the introduction of new training technology will make for a much improved learner experience.”
