etco* partners with Career Navigator to provide employment for young Kiwis

etco* and Career Navigator will be working even closer together in the future to match bright, keen young school leavers with the employment and continuing education opportunities available through etco*.

This new partnership will see etco* personnel support Career Navigator’s activities in schools, providing electrical industry expertise to those students considering starting their tertiary education as a paid electrical apprentice.

“We are always looking for high achieving students who like fixing stuff, who want to work and learn by using their hands and who don’t want to start their working life with student debt,” says etco* Recruitment Manager Ian Ross.  “By partnering with Career Navigator we can increase the number of opportunities we have to get in front of the students to tell them our story and to explain what we have to offer. With more than 200 new apprenticeships nationally each year, and demand for our apprentices increasing daily, there are always positions available.”
